Research into risk and perceotions of cleaning priorities between IP specialists and those who carry it out

Hi. Hospital cleaning is very important and ensures germs that can cause infections are prevented from making patients sick. The research study is taking place to find out if the people who perform hospital cleaning (most commonly hospital cleaners/cleaning operatives) and infection prevention and control team members (most commonly nurses and doctors) think about germs on hospital surfaces differently. There might be a difference between how infection prevention and control teams and hospital cleaners think germs on surfaces in patient rooms can result in infection. We are interested in understanding how this can relate to hospital cleaning.

We have an IPS grant to research potential differences between IP professionals and hotel services/environmental service workers when confronted with the same scenario. We are looking for a minimum of 50 participants from each group. If you can help, please follow this link.
