What our branches do
The IPS Branches play a key role in supporting members locally by providing a space for regular meetings and offering a forum to discuss professional issues and meet fellow colleagues. These branches serve as a hub for networking, skill development, and advancing infection prevention practices in your area.
Each branch hosts a variety of activities, including regular meetings that focus on important IPC topics, sharing knowledge, and staying informed about the latest developments. In addition, branches organise educational events such as webinars, clinical supervision, and region-specific workshops to address local needs and interests.
Our branches are run by dedicated volunteers who actively contribute by providing feedback on local issues, ideas, and concerns. They feedback to the IPS staff team and Board, ensuring that the needs of local members are represented and addressed at the national level.
