The Corporate Advisory Group (CAG) provides a strong and effective platform to enhance relationships between the Infection Prevention Society (IPS) and its corporate members. The group plays a key role in attracting new members to the Society.
The purpose of the group is to bring together industry experts and IPC professionals to share best practice and expertise. We welcome anyone in industry with a passion for infection control.
The CAG organises Industry Insights and Partnership meetings that bring corporate members and the IPS together to discuss significant changes within the NHS. These help collaboration on key topics.
We regularly host, paid-for Product Surgeries, for commercial organisations, so they can showcase their latest innovations to leading IPC professionals.
So far, over 600 places have been provided at Industry Insights and Partnership days (previously called Networking Days), and 94 firms have benefited from Product Surgeries.
What the CAG offers:
- Industry Insights and Partnerships Days – Corporate members and other commercial organisations join with speakers from government, the NHS and industry along with IPS Board and/or CLEC members to review and discuss contemporary issues associated with HCAI and specific business issues that impact on the infection prevention and control environment.
- Product Surgeries – Several IPC experts are brought together in the form of an expert panel and up to six commercial organisations are able to meet with them for 45 minutes each and discuss the attributes of their products, technologies or designs and seek advice on matters of efficacy, in-use features and the potential or actual benefits to the NHS.
- Influence on the CAG agenda – Corporate members can steer discussions to focus on specific challenges or areas where they need support.
- Valuable networking opportunities – Meet and connect with colleagues from other commercial organisations, as well as IPS Board members and team.
The CAG is a vital part of the IPS, strengthening partnerships with corporate members and ensuring we work together to advance infection prevention.
