Scottish Event Campus Centre

The SEC Centre (originally known as the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre) is Scotland's largest exhibition centre, located in the district of Finnieston on the north bank of the River Clyde, Glasgow. It is one of the three main venues within the Scottish Event Campus.

Glasgow is an easy city to find your way around. Built on a grid system, it’s compact to navigate, either on foot or public transport.
Glasgow is served by three international airports, with connections across the world. There are over 45 flights from London a day.
There is a taxi pick-up/drop-off point outside the SSE hydro. Alternatively, you can book a Glasgow Taxi online or take an Uber.

Please plan your journey in advance and allow more time for travel a number of disruptions in Glasgow are anticipated.
The Great Scottish Run Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 30th September, with road restrictions in place in the city centre area until 4.30pm. To view the route and specific road closures click here

Due to rail engineering works, trains will not be running to / from Exhibition Centre Station on Sunday 30th September. To view affected stations click here

Delegates arriving by train into Glasgow Central
A replacement bus service will be running from Glasgow Central from 8.40am, but delegates should allow additional time for these journeys. Check journeys replaced by bus at Scotrail
Alternatively, delegates are advised to book a taxi on 0141 429 7070 (a taxi rank is also available at the Gordon Street exit), or walk to the SEC campus where possible (approximately 25 minutes).

Delegates arriving by train into Glasgow Queen Street
Delegates arriving into Queen Street can walk along to Central Station (10 minutes). Or delegates may wish to use the Station Link bus service - click here

Delegates driving to the SEC
The Clydeside Expressway is the main feeder road for both exhibitor and public transport to the SEC Campus, the west (w) access route will be open. Drivers going westbound on the Expressway should follow signage for SECC and come off at the Partick and Glasgow Harbour junction where they turn left and come back past the SEC. There is signage directing traffic to the SECC and SSE Hydro parking.

Delegates staying at the on-site hotels
Crowne Plaza, Hilton Garden Inn, Village Hotel, Campanile

These are all within short walking distance of the SEC Centre. Restaurant advice for delegates for Sunday night – the Finnieston area is within easy walking distance and has a range of bars and restaurants.
If travelling into the city centre in the evening, a bus replacement service will be running from Exhibition Centre Station to Central Station covering the usual times trains run. Times can be checked at Scotrail, but more time should be allowed for your journey. Taxis can be booked on 0141 429 7070.

Delegates staying at other conference hotels

Both hotels are adjacent to Glasgow Central Station.

Early booking highly recommended.
Bookings will be on a request basis and subject to availability, rates may vary.
You do not have to book via Reservation Highway to attend the conference as you may secure better deals elsewhere.
