Networking Days – on the day following the Product Surgeries corporate members and other commercial organisations join with high quality speakers from government, the NHS and industry along with IPS Board members to review and discuss contemporary issues associated with healthcare acquired infection-related and specific business issues that impact on the infection prevention and control environment. IPS Industry Insights Technology Endorsement Programme (paid-for service) - efficacy and in-use information concerning products and technologies may be submitted by commercial organisations to IPS and will be subject to a review process. Where an expert panel are satisfied that the required standards are reached the product or technology may be placed on the IPS Industry Insights web site (https://industryinsights.ips.uk.net/) which is an open and public site and which is being developed to become the go-to reference site for endorsed product and technologies. A coveted Technology Endorsement Logo may also be used on sales and other material where products or technologies have been so approved.
IPS Education and Training Endorsement Programme (paid-for-service) - educational and training materials from commercial organisations may be submitted to the Education and Professional Development Committee who will review their content and subject to the validity of the content may approve the content. Where these submissions meet the required standards and approval gained details will be placed on the IPS Industry Insights web site (https://industryinsights.ips.uk.net/) which is an open and public site and which is being developed to become the go-to reference site for endorsed education and training material. Collaborative Projects and Educational Events (paid-for-service) – corporate members are encouraged to work with IPS in research projects for which senior IPS members are assigned to work with the member to develop and enact research concerning the product, technology or associated education and training. Additionally corporate members are also encourage to co-badge with IPS in relation to day conferences for IPS members and also parties from the wider healthcare environment . Both of these are bespoke and designed on a one-off basis and provide members with excellent opportunities to build their brand awareness amongst the IPS community.
