The Northern Ireland Infection Prevention Society Conference 2019 is on the Wednesday the 9th of October and registration is now open and we take this opportunity to celebrate sixty years of Infection prevention nursing.

Who should attend?

The event will be of particular interest to any nurse or healthcare worker where infection, prevention and control is key within their role or setting. This includes Infection, Prevention & Control Practitioners, Ward Nurses, Infection Control Link personnel, Community Nurses, Care Home Nurses and more

Registration will be from 8.45am - 9.15am; conference closes at 4.30pm.

The format of the education sessions will cover both community and acute topics of interest.

The conference will include a morning break and lunch break with the opportunity to network and visit exhibition stands displaying innovative technologies across a wide range of products.

Directions to the Tullyglass House Hotel, are provided below. Once, again we would like to thank you for your contribution to promoting good practice in infection prevention and control and we look forward to seeing you at our conference.

Directions: From Belfast, take the M2 north. Leave the motorway at the (M22) roundabout. Take the 3rd exit onto the A26, Lisnevenagh Rd towards Ballymena/Coleraine. Follow the road for 6 miles until you reach the Cromkill Road on the left, signposted for County Hall. Follow this road, at each roundabout follow the signs for County Hall. Tullyglass House Hotel is situated on the right, opposite the County Hall. There is ample free parking. Journey time, approximately 1 hour from the Belfast City Airport, 40 minutes from Belfast International Airport and a 5 minute taxi journey from Ballymena train station.
