The National Infection and Control Team (NICPT) would like to invite you to join the Board Assurance Framework (BAF) webinar on Tuesday 10th June between 2-3 pm via Ms teams; to showcase the resources that have and are being developed in response to the feedback from the recent Board Assurance Framework (BAF) survey.
The NIPCT circulated a survey to gather feedback on the National Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) BAF. The comments received have now been reviewed by the NIPCT and corresponding changes made to the IPC BAF, specifically:
- Minor amendments were made to correct errors in formatting, spelling, and functionality
- URLs that did not work were updated
- URLs to the supporting NHS England standard infection control precautions monitoring tool and Isolation prioritisation tool were added
- Minor amendments to the introduction slide to align with the revised AMR National Action Plan 2024 to 2029
There have been no substantive changes to the text, format, or overall content as the IPC BAF is based on the Health and Social Care Act 2008: code of practice on the prevention and control of infections, which has not changed.
