Removal of sinks at Wrexham Park Hospital

Hi ,
I wanted to ask if there had been any evidence or data regarding the removal of sinks seen on the BBC news at Wrexham Park Hospital . I work at a children’s hospice and I am the IPC link attempting to remove gloves in the area I work but the article reflects on inadequate hand hygiene and the cleaning of sinks linking this with the high incidence of hospital acquired infection . Any feedback around this would be greatly appreciated.

I am unaware of the article you have mentioned, but I also work at a children’s Hospice and am the IPC lead.
We are also trying to reduce glove use, and would be happy to chat through what you’re doing in relation to this within your work environment too.
