Specimen Fridges

We are introducing specimen fridges into our community wards as many specimens can be kept languishing between collections. We were wondering where these should be kept, considering space is always at a premium. The sluice seems wrong!?

this would be a local risk assessment. Some may argue a sluice is the most ideal, i.e. in the room its processed. Only thing to consider is some fridges have fans attached to the back of them, so could pose a risk. Would recommend it is in a distinguishably different place to any other fridge and solely used for specimens in sealed bags.
