Hi all,
In some of our units (without laundry facilities) we use disposable scrubs for staff involved in minor surgery (within treatment rooms, not operating theatres).
I would really like to stop using these and instead use washable scrub sets (staff would have to take home and wash).
I am struggling to find any guidance specific to treatment rooms and wondered if anyone has made the switch already?
Or if anyone has any advice on how to do this? Or if this is potentially too risky (if staff would have to wash uniforms at home)?
Any thoughts on this would be useful!
Thanks
