A free educational event full of key speakers will take place on 23rd November 2021 in Northampton.
Our first in-person conference is headed by IPS Vice President Lisa Butcher
Lisa Butcher, Vice President of IPS, supporting the President, Management Executive Group and Board of Trustees, leads the current work group taking this forward along with Hannah Bysouth and Jon Otter.
The Environment, Cleaning and Decontamination educational pillar (ECD) will focus on water, ventilation, decontamination, environmental cleaning, and hand hygiene.
The free-to attend event will comprise of session based presentations, led by experts in the field combined with a number of interactive workshops. This first event will be aimed at IPC practitioners that have little knowledge or experience in the subject of infection prevention across environment, cleaning and decontamination.
The objective of the ECD pillar is to educate IPS members on specific topics to promote and support the adoption of best practice in cleaning and decontamination to prevent healthcare associated infections throughout the patient journey.
