Paul Chivers

Paul heads up the PPE Reuse, Innovation and Sustainability Team and has been instrumental in delivering the Transparent Face Mask Specification as well as working with manufacturers and suppliers to have compliant products.

Paul and his team have successfully identified a reusable Type IIR mask, which is being piloted to influence National IPC guidance to support reusable masks safely and the team are looking to significantly reduce glove usage across health and care. Paul is also liaising closely with regulators to discuss standards and specifications for PPE and some Medical Devices.

There are many opportunities, but Paul and his team are hoping to target the most influential and impactful ones initially.
