I am Team Leader at a Children's Hospice . I am seeking evidence based practice in regards to hydrotherapy for those children who are colonised with multi-resistant organisms such as ESBL, CPE, C-Diff and MRSA. We do not want to deny them a lovely experience, but do not wish to put others at risk either. As we are getting increasing referrals of children colonised with MRO, I'm hoping that someone can help me clarify this. If anyone would be willing to share their hydrotherapy/IPC policies , that may also be helpful.
