MDI (Inhaler) spacers in spirometry testing

Hello all, there is a national shortage of single use spacers - we are reaching a situation where this will impact our service delivery - does anyone have information, experience of decontaminating spacers. I am holding the line in saying no (manufactures are clear these are single patient devices) but wanted to check (given the possible reduction in service delivery) if others have different views

    Hi Martin,  I haven't much experience on these but aren't they rigid plastic?  It would be worth asking through the new sustainability special interest group (there is a meeting Wednesday 11/10)  if anyone else has undertaken a risk assessment.
