Waste bins in shared bathrooms/en-suites

Does any trust use non foot operated waste bins. a number of patients have had falls in bathrooms attempting to use foot pedal to dispose of waste. just reaching out to ask.

    I'm trialling these for domestic waste in a non acute / non NHS setting where service users have limited dexterity / are unable to use a foot pedal but we are trying to promote as much independence as possible.  2 x Aquarius™ Bin 6993 – Plastic, White (kcprofessional.com) Feedback from users so far has been positive. They are only currently available in white though.

    We have open top bins in some of our bathrooms to support with reducing falls risk.
