IPS Product Surgery and Corporate Networking Day January 2024

IPS is pleased to confirm the outline of two further events in a rolling programme to support IPS corporate members in particular and commercial organisations in general who work in the HCAI-related space. Our mission is to help effect a better understanding of the need for effective technologies and explore associated commercial opportunities in the NHS.

Corporate Networking Day – Thursday 18th January 2024

This event is available to IPS corporate members and commercial organisations working in the HCAI-related space and places are provided without charge. It is an Open House meeting so firms may apply for any reasonable number of places and IPS will do its best to accommodate such requests.

If you would like to attend the Networking day then please contact Lynne Duncan on IPSPA@ips.uk.net. The meeting will commence at 10.30 am (refreshments from 0945 am) and be completed by at least 2.00pm.

Product Surgery – Friday 19th January 2024

The purpose of this meeting is to provide corporate organisations an opportunity to meet with a panel of senior professionals to discuss technical, scientific or procurement-related aspects of their emerging or existing technologies. Each surgery session will last 45 minutes and verbal feedback will be provided on the day.

Please note that availability of slots is limited to 6 companies and these will be allocated first to IPS corporate members and then to other applicants. The panel consist of the following;

  • Lisa Butcher, Lead Nurse & Manager for Infection Prevention and Decontamination, Oxford University Hospitals NHS FT and IPS President
  • Mark Garvey, TBC
  • Sally Palmer, Nurse Consultant IPC, Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and IPS Deputy Secretary
