A fresh look for IPS coming soon
The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) is set to unveil a refreshed brand identity this spring. The update will include a modernised logo, a redesigned website, and an improved membership database.
While the IPS name, mission, and values remain unchanged, the brand refresh is designed to create a more professional, cohesive, and accessible identity, ensuring consistency across all IPS materials, branches, and Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
The rebrand reflects the Society’s commitment to strengthening its position as a leader in infection prevention and control (IPC). IPS CEO, Dr Alex Rhys, said: "This rebrand is about more than aesthetics - it's about ensuring that IPS remains a trusted and recognisable organisation. By modernising our identity, we are reinforcing our role in shaping IPC practice, supporting our members, and influencing policy and education."
The update will also improve the accessibility of IPS resources. A new, user-friendly website will launch in the spring, featuring improved navigation to help members and visitors find key information more easily. In addition to the website update, IPS is introducing a new membership database, providing greater self-service options.
These improvements aim to streamline processes for members, reducing administrative barriers and enhancing engagement with IPS resources and networks.
IPS members will first see elements of the refreshed brand in March 2025, when IP2025 conference ticket sales go live. The full rebrand, including the new website and membership system, will launch after Easter 2025.
