Special Interest Groups
A Special Interest Group (SIG) is a community with an interest in advancing a specific area of knowledge, learning or technology where members cooperate to affect or to produce solutions within their particular field, and may communicate, meet, and organise conferences. IPS has a number of SIGs and members can chose to ‘join’ the SIG by selecting the appropriate box in your details tab.
All members will receive information about the SIG conferences, be sent relevant information and can contribute to running the SIG. Sig members may represent the society in external working parties or contribute to developing guidelines or recommendations. It’s a great way to get involved in your particular area of interest
