Jerome Dooga

About

Jerome Terpase Dooga is an educationist and has worked in the field of IPC and public health since 2019. He trained as a communicator and holds a PhD in English Language and has postgraduate training in educational technology. He worked as a professor of Discourse-Pragmatics at the University of Jos, Nigeria before joining the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) on the NiCaDe project (nicadeipcpals.gov.ng). He co-developed and has been implementing the Participatory Approach to Learning in Systems (PALS), a social science approach that supports IPC practitioners in healthcare facilities to improve IPC processes by developing social and communication skills to enable better collaborations with leadership, strengthen interprofessional understanding and team work.
