Dr. Alero Ilawole is an epidemiologist with a clinical background and over five years’ experience using health data to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare-associated risks. She works as the Assurance and Surveillance Manager within the Surveillance and Innovation Unit (SIU) at GSTT, where she supports infection prevention and control (IPC) through surveillance, analytics, and data-driven insight. Dr Alero is passionate about using health data to promote proactive infection prevention and believes that informed, data-driven decision-making is essential to improving patient safety and safeguarding public health.
