About

Paul Lee, BA(Hons), Cert Ed. RSci, MIPEM, CMI is an apprentice of electronic engineering and worked in the NHS since 1986. He has experience working across a variety of disciplines at operational and strategic level, and extensive background in medical device risk management, service, repair and device training.

He’s a registered clinical scientist and expert opinion leader in medical device management and specialises in intravenous therapy, medical gas and oxygen safety and the safe use of infusion devices.

He has over 100 articles, published papers, presentations at national, and international conferences and seminars. His published research focussed on human factors, device design, infusion device safety and IV therapy.

He is also a recent winner of two AHA Awards for collaboration with industry and multidisciplinary working for the design and development of national e-learning courses for risks associated with beds, bed rails and transfer trollies, as well as medical gas and cylinder safety.
