Purpose of the Award
The Honorary Membership Award celebrates individuals who have significantly furthered the aims and goals of the Society. It is awarded to those whose voluntary contributions have had a meaningful impact on the organisation and its members.
Criteria
To be eligible for Honorary Membership, nominees must:
- Be a current member of the Society.
- Have taken on significant roles or contributed on a voluntary basis to benefit the entire membership.
- Made a substantial contribution to advancing the Society’s aims and goals.
- Furthered the Society’s mission through significant involvement in national groups or committees on behalf of IPS over the course of their career.
Nomination Process
Any IPS member can nominate a deserving individual who meets the criteria. To nominate, complete the Honorary Membership Nomination Form using the online submission system. Nominations must be received by the annual deadline.
