Impact Awards

The IPS Impact Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding initiatives in infection prevention and control (IPC) led by our members. These awards highlight innovation, excellence, and improvement in IPC practice, service delivery, or education.

Submit an entry

There are three award categories: 

  • Award for Excellence: For those who aim for and achieve the highest standards in IPC practice or education.
  • Award for Patient Experience: Recognising efforts to put patients at the heart of IPC practice.
  • Award for Nurturing IPC Talent: Supporting the growth and development of the future IPC workforce.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Check eligibility – ensure you meet the eligibility criteria (e.g. IPS membership for nominators). 

Choose a category – select the appropriate award category (Excellence, Patient Experience, or Nurturing IPC Talent). 

Complete the application form – provide a summary of your innovation or improvement, outlining the aims, activities, and outcomes, along with supporting evidence. 

Submit online – attach any supporting documents and submit the application form before Midnight Monday 9 June 2025.
