Branches

As a member of the Infection Prevention Society, you can choose to be in one or more of our 14 branches. These branches provide local opportunities to connect with peers, enhance your skills, and contribute to the advancement of IPC practice in your area.

What branches offers 

Your branch is here to support you with a range of activities and resources designed to help you grow professionally and stay connected with the IPC community: 

  • Regular branch meetings to discuss professional issues, share knowledge, and stay updated on IPC developments. 
  • Educational events, such as webinars, clinical supervision sessions, and project workshops tailored to your region’s needs. 
  • Networking opportunities with colleagues at events. 
  • Annual study days with expert-led sessions, a commercial exhibition, and lunch—a great chance to network and learn.

How to join a branch

As a member of the IPS, you can easily join a branch from our members area. Simply select the relevant group on your details tab in your membership profile. Once signed up, you’ll start receiving information about activities, events, and ways to get involved.
