New platform features enhanced member access, refreshed look, and dedicated forum to boost engagement.
The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) has today launched a redesigned website and refreshed brand identity as part of a major digital transformation aimed at improving member experience and strengthening engagement across the infection prevention and control (IPC) community.
The new branding, developed with input from members, introduces a modern, dynamic visual identity that reflects the Society’s core values of collaboration, professionalism, and clinical credibility. Alongside the rebrand, IPS has overhauled its digital infrastructure with a new content management system (CMS), membership database, and fully redesigned website.
Dr Alex Rhys, CEO of IPS, said: “Our new branding – voted on by members – captures the essence of our mission: working together to prevent infection. It’s a fresh look that retains our professionalism while better representing the dynamism, connection and clinical credibility of our Society.”
The website introduces several significant improvements, including:
- Streamlined navigation and accessibility: A cleaner, more intuitive layout makes it easier for users to find information, book events, and access guidance.
- Improved member area: Members can now manage their own profiles, update contact information, and access resources with greater ease.
- New members’ forum: A dedicated online space enables users to connect, share ideas, and seek peer advice on IPC challenges.
- Upgraded membership database: A new system improves data security and communication, enabling more efficient event management and member support.
The launch marks a key milestone in the Society’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its digital presence and member services. IPS is encouraging members to explore the new site and share feedback as the platform continues to evolve.
