We welcome affiliations with IPC societies around the world that share our vision.
Infection prevention and control (IPC) requires a global effort to protect populations from avoidable infections. Affiliation connects IPS to other societies by sharing our newsletters, exchanging ideas and through association, building a stronger international network of infection prevention and control professionals.
Each affiliation will be reviewed after two years to see whether it should continue. If the terms of the affiliation are not respected, IPS reserves the right to revoke the affiliation.
Eligible organisations for International Affiliated Society include new and established infection prevention societies.
For you to use at the affiliated society’s conference and vice versa.
Receive news from IPS via our newsletter, sent to the affiliate society's president or nominated point of contact.
Discounted conference tickets, based on arrangements set by the IPS Scientific Programme Committee (SPC).
IPS will fund the affiliated society’s president or nominee for full IPS membership and invite them to attend our annual conference. IPS will provide one complimentary ticket to attend the conference but are unable to fund travel or accommodation.
The president or nominee can shadow branch officers in managing IPS branches.
Connect with other affiliated societies for education and training opportunities.
Both IPS and affiliated societies benefit from promotion through our online networks and annual conference.
