Terms of Reference (ToR) are guidelines that explain why a group exists and how it works. They set out what the group aims to do, who is involved, and what their roles are. Terms of Reference help keep a group organised and focused on its goals.
Our ToR usually include:
What the group is set up to achieve.
What tasks the group and its members need to do.
Who is in the group and what their roles are.
How often the group meets and how decisions are made.
Who the group reports to and how they share their progress.
