The 2nd Asia Pacific Conference on Point of Care Testing for Infectious Diseases (POC25) provides a platform to showcase innovative global research on the ever-evolving landscape of point of care testing, and discuss challenges and solutions to scaling-up-point of care testing for infectious diseases.

Point of care testing is a key tool for endingthe global epidemic of infectious disease. It’s now more important than ever for healthworkers across the Asia Pacific region, Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand to come together and realise the potential of this revolutionary testing method.

The conference will consider the implementation of point-of-care testing in diverse settings, including but not limited to the community, community-led services, Indigenous-led services, primary care clinics, antenatal care clinics, women’s health clinics, HIV and sexual health clinics, drug treatment clinics, needle/syringe programs, mental health clinics, refugee/migrant health services, mobile health clinics, prisons, and tertiary hospital-based care.
