Speaker

Paul Weaving, IPS Scottish Branch and Nurse consultant infection control, NHS Scotland Assure

Paul has been a nurse for over thirty-five years and was an operating theatre nurse before moving into infection prevention. He has worked in a wide variety of hospital, community, and national roles in England and Scotland. He has authored several articles and book chapters and was editor of the Journal of Infection Prevention. He is currently Nurse Consultant, Infection Prevention and Control with NHS Scotland Assure, and an honorary lecturer with the University of Dundee. In 2018 he was awarded honorary membership of the Infection Prevention Society.
