Special Interest Groups

As an IPS member, you have access to a range of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) tailored to specific areas of infection prevention and control (IPC). SIGs provide an excellent opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals, enhance your expertise, and contribute to advancements in your field of interest.

What SIGs offer 

Joining a SIG allows you to: 

  • Stay informed with updates, resources, and invitations to SIG conferences. 
  • Work with other members to share experiences, exchange ideas, and produce solutions for your area of interest. 
  • Represent IPS in external working groups, help develop guidelines, and shape the future of IPC in your specialty. 
  • Engage with experts and peers in a focused and supportive community.

How to join a SIG 

As a member of the IPS, you can easily join a SIG from our members area. Simply select the relevant group on your details tab in your membership profile. Once signed up, you’ll start receiving information about activities, events, and ways to get involved.
