Bev works in the Community Health Protection Team at Manchester City Council. Providing Infection Prevention and Control advice and support to a range of settings across Manchester including social care settings, schools, primary care and other high-risk community or residential settings including hostels, accommodation for people seeking asylum and sex on premise venues. Bev has worked in Health Protection for over 15 years; with a dental background, she primarily supported dental practices in compliance with National Decontamination Standards before widening experience in many other areas of Health Protection work. Bev now leads on Health Protection for Refugee and Asylum support services as well as contributing to the oral health agenda within the wider public health workstream.
