Claire Broughton, a Specialist Health Protection Nurse working for Manchester City Councils Department of Public Health, in the Community Health Protection Team for the last 5 years. My background in Nursing is predominantly Acute Medicine and Urgent Care Nursing – I spent 4 years in AMU/ACU, then moved into Community Urgent Care as a Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Matron for a further 4 years, supporting patients at home with long term respiratory and heart conditions before moving into Public Health in the CHPT in 2021 mid covid pandemic.
