About
Danel Meno is Head of Clinical UK at GAMA Healthcare and a registered nurse with a background in infection prevention and control (IPC), leadership and education. Previously, he was Senior IPC Nurse Specialist and Education Lead at Whittington Health NHS Trust, where his work included workforce education, quality improvement and preparedness for high consequence infectious diseases.
He holds an MSc in Infection Prevention and Control and a Postgraduate Diploma in Tropical Nursing from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Danel is a visiting lecturer at the University of West London and contributes to the Infection Prevention Society (IPS) through its Education and Professional Development Committee (EPDC) and Scientific Programme Committee (SPC).
His interests include translating evidence into practical care, strengthening IPC competencies and supporting healthcare teams to deliver safer, person-centred care through accessible, engaging education.
