Gemma is an RVN of 16 years and has worked at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals for 10 years. Gemma completed her Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Nursing in ECC, led the ECC nursing team for two years and was IPC champion for 6 years. Gemma took up the role of IPC Manager to lead the IPC team in 2023. She is passionate about IPC and integrating practical IPC measures into the multidisciplinary veterinary hospital environment to ensure patient and staff safety.
