Helen is the Deputy Lead Nurse for Health Protection at Manchester City Council and leads the Community Health Protection Team.
She has a diverse professional background spanning military, public sector, corporate, and primary care settings. Her experience includes serving as a nurse in the Royal Air Force, working in occupational health for local authorities, BUPA and Carlsberg, Professional Lead Nurse for Practice Nurses, and practising as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in primary care. Since 2009, she has specialised in infection prevention, control, and health protection.
