Fiona Tordoff DipIoD, Chartered FCIPD, is the Chief Executive of the Infection Prevention Society.
Fiona has a strong track record of leading organisations through growth and development. She has worked with boards, members and partners to shape direction and support sustainable organisational models, including advising membership organisations on their strategy and development.
She was previously Chief Executive of the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators, where she led the organisation to achieve Royal Charter status and establish education, accreditation and professional standards frameworks.
Fiona has also worked with a sector-based gender equity organisation, supporting its development and growth.
Fiona is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and holds a Diploma from the Institute of Directors.
Fiona is committed to supporting the Infection Prevention Society in strengthening its influence, supporting its members, and ensuring its work translates into real impact across health and care.
