Watch: IPS President and Vice President discuss the 2026 IPS Impact Awards

Want to know more about this year’s IPS Impact Awards and what makes them different?

In this special Clinical Conversation, IPS President, Jude Robinson, and Vice President, Kerry Holden, discuss the refreshed awards, the new categories, and why recognising the people and teams making a difference in infection prevention and control has never been more important.

From celebrating innovation and collaboration to recognising volunteers, rising stars and outstanding teams, the conversation explores what the judges will be looking for and shares practical advice on putting together a strong nomination.

As Kerry and Jude explain in this video, many of the achievements worthy of recognition happen every day and can often go unnoticed. The awards are an opportunity to celebrate those individuals and teams who are making a real impact across infection prevention and control.

The video also includes:

  • An overview of each award category and what makes it unique.
  • Why the awards have been refreshed for 2026.
  • Tips on the different types of evidence you can submit to support your nomination.
  • Information about the nomination process and key deadlines.
